US presidential drama COMMANDER IN CHIEF has been temporarily pulled from the ABC TV schedule because network executives are unhappy with the show's low ratings.
The drama has received critical acclaim and actress GEENA DAVIS, who plays president MACKENZIE ALLEN won a Golden Globe for her performance, earlier this month (16JAN06) - but that isn't making the show a hit.
The whacky critics love it, the public doesn't.

yes, because as we all know, "what the people like" is the true measure of art. All along it was The Jeff Foxworthy show that should have been getting all those Emmys.
No, it's not the true measure of art. But frequently, the riff raff (as Johnny would call them) in fly-over country know crap when they see it. Apparently, they saw crap.
