This week, the boy was promoted to the Orange defense (as opposed to the Black defense) for the DIXIE RAIDERS. While he's not starting, he'll garner more playing time in addition to his kickoff and kick return team duties.
I'm proud of the little guy. This is his first year of football, he's just about the smallest guy on the team, and he didn't have a clue what he was doing six weeks ago.
But he's tough, aggressive, smart, and does what the coaches tell him. Actually, doing what the coaches tell him has the most to do with his promotion. Coaches like that.
Let's see how he does this weekend, and whether he can hold on to his Orange status.

Orange is good. As in Texas Longhorn Orange. Maybe the "P" man
is headed to Austin.
