Graham Alison, the former Dean of The Kennedy School for Recovering Politicians at Harvard, offers a simple prescription for victory in the Global War on Terror:
“We must delegitimize terrorism -- making it as internationally unacceptable as slavery or piracy.”

Believe it or not there are people, in fact most of Europe it seems, that will not outwardly condemn terrorism by Islamists. They claim that the Islamists are "freedom fighters" and that they have a right to use bombs to kill civilians in their fight for freedom.
